Them two in the pics look like a couple of he-haw dancers. The first one should be bothered about them ginger boards before he spouts ffs. What a couple of duds they are, like butt ends being pissed on..
This Country likes to be proud and perfect, they are not. The whole system needs a major wipeout and as much as I hate saying it, a new government..
Didn't know that On a wider point though I do know that in India and Pakistan all the medical schools are (or were) teaching medicine in English The text books and diagnosis was always in english
Didn't know that But thinking about it it makes sense What I mean is places like India and Pakistan have seen a rise in English speakers helped by foreign businesses (think call centres) and job opportunities abroad Are we getting a situation where the "typically non English speaking immigrants" will be English speakers yet our "cousins" from the EU aren't ? I'm thinking of some of the slovaks and romanaions around my way who can't speak English at all
The Romanians and Slovaks will never learn English, these people lived in destitution 30+ years ago behind the iron curtain. Their entry into Europe and free movement was like putting a wasp in the tip of your condom, the shag would happen but you'd get stung for it. When you think about 2 Countries getting rid of their ****, then those 2 along with Bulgaria are well and truly in the top 3..
One of my daughters in law is Slovakian. She has a degree and speaks English fluently. She’s also a good person, wife and mother.
I think not, now people realise that Engish is a must. I wasn't having a pop, just pointing out that even Asians don;t realise what other Asian countries speak. Malaysia was a British colony. The Phillipines an American one, their English is neigh on perfect (despite their american twang)
You'd think he would know he's in a prime position when the other guy has lost his blob. He must have missed that week.
Yeah I got that mate, and knew you weren't having a pop For me Australia is obviously an english speaking country. Likes of the Philippines and Malaysia (although colonies) still have another national language But hopefully the point wasnt lost, in that on one hand we have the argument that NHS staff have problems communicating in English whilst someone like the example I gave failed the English test Doesn't make sense or add up
