Only matters if you win it and qualify for the Euro's, which most of these 'A' league teams will do anyway through the Qualifiers.

So actually its a hindrance cause you spend a year and a half playing friendlies like a host nation.

What happens now? The semis and the finals are in June of next year I'm told, so that's another year where top players don't get a full break. It looks like they're never going to any more, there'll always be some tournament or other on.

The easy qualification group we would have is hardly a challenge.

Be okay, it’s only a few games and most of the players for England won’t be in CL latter stages/long cup runs.

I dunno... most of the games are piss easy in groups too.

in general the way England players act they will make the friendlies worthless yes.you are right.

especially mancs who withdraw with no reason. unlike Henderson whos prob injured again and gomez who plaued 90 mins today despite carrying an achilles injury with others sat and watched.
