The Chairboys head off to the North East for their first visit to the 49K capacity Stadium of Light to take on the mighty Black Cats who are looking to bounce back to the Championship at the first attempt, this will be a tough test for Gareth Ainsworth's dogs of war but we have been here before and who can forget our one only visit to Main Road twenty seasons ago.
Gaz has had a boost to his injury hit squad with the return on emergency loan "one of our own" Matty Ingram and he hopes to have Bayo (ankle) back from injury also he may have one or two others returning hopefully Charles will be one of them along with Stewart and Tyson could make the bench.
Although I would love to be going to this one but have you seen how far it is, I had thought of staying overnight but Mrs Wanderer has put her foot down so it looks like its Soccer Saturday for me, but I'm hopeful the lads can upset the apple cart<cheers>

Wycombe will hand a second debut to Matt Ingram in goal after the QPR man returned on an emergency loan following injuries to Ryan Allsop and Yves Ma-Kalambay, while Anthony Stewart, Sam Saunders, Matt Bloomfield, Michael Harriman, Adebayo Akinfenwa, Darius Charles and Nathan Tyson are all nearing a return to the side after injury ahead of the Christmas schedule.

I'm not going to have a clue what's happening in this game. Have to be at our club's ground early for their Coup de France match and won't be home 'til late. My youngest grandson is to accompany one of the players as the teams come out onto the pitch.

It's the blockage in France today as all petrol stations are being blocked all over France in protests to the Government over rising petrol prices. It's a serious and well organised blockage with police just watching on. Hope we can get to the match OK. Apparently all cup matches are going ahead but all other matches have been cancelled.

Good luck to Wycombe today. Sunderland fans seem very confident. COYB

The beast will probably be on the bench which might suit us in playing football instead of hoofball. We've shown we can match the big boys in the division so expecting a point if we play like recent home games maybe even 3 points <cheers>.we don't need to be scared of going up there on our day we can beat most teams just depends what wycombe team turn up .
