Absolutely agree with this and it was precisely my thoughts! May has done a deal that reaches a balance better than i expected. It's not a deal i agree with but it's a deal. Brexiters may be unhappy with that but Mogg is being an utter prat by not supporting her. Because as you say, this is all going to blow up in his face, and it will end up going to the people's vote, and something i alluded to today in an indirect manner, it's only going to have one outcome....Remain will win.

And if that happens you fooking lot are getting banned <laugh>

Talk to yourself ha! May will never have a second vote and she will go when Parliament rejects her deal, it can go a few ways after that but with a minority government, it may have to go to the polls. One way or another, her deal will be like her, finished.. <ok>

well at risk of a ban the most likely outcome is her failing to get it through Parl and resigning leading to a leadership election and presumably us having all options cut off due to time running out

apart from Moggy whose options were blown off in a mysterious explosion of the gas lamp in his drawing room due to his luck running out :bandit:

It can only be extended if all 28 members agree (I think Hungary said they would not agree, as they want to upset the EU)

The problem with the deal is, we would be stuck in limbo and that cant be allowed, you need a cut off date.

I'd love a no deal, but i'm realistic, it's never going to happen.

the generous view of his actions are that he genuinely believes no deal is better for the UK than the agreed deal. He & the ERG have always seemed more intent on no deal than having a deal imo .

I agree with Mogg's in principle but he needs to face reality, it's not going to happen. And he's certainly not in a position to criticise May for what she has done, as he's never likely to be in the same position.

He's a libertarian. He wants a no deal so that the UK can get rid of things like worker's rights and the NHS.
He hates the UK and wants to turn it into his father's vision of a ****ty, wrecked society.

And what's wrong with being a libertarian! Workers rights are already diminished in the UK, don't fool yourself any differently, the destruction of the unions has left them powerless and corporate companies can more or less get away with anything, by revoking old trade union deals.
