I worked in automotive design for 30 years. These days all cars are good. All the electronics are from Asia, all the engines are manufactured from computer controlled machines. All designs are copied. They will all last until you're bored of them. Just buy what you fancy.

Friend has up to 3 tickets spare for Benidorm Live at the Mayflower on Saturday night, £38 each. We went last night and it was great - perfect pick-me-up from that debacle on Sunday afternoon. Let me know if you are interested

If you ever hurt your ribs do your upmost not to sneeze. I couldn't hold one in and bloody hell did it hurt. :emoticon-0183-swear

I remember that only too well! I cracked a couple of ribs playing 5-a-side about 30 years ago and I still expect it to hurt when I sneeze!

In reality it only lasts 2-3 weeks, so be strong Tom!

Oh yes. Broke a couple after being knocked off my motorbike in 75 and then did my rib cartilage playing rugby 10 years later. I learned very quickly to avoid sneezing (and laughing - for some reason your friends find it very amusing to make you laugh and see you in pain .....) ....
I sympathise. Get better soon!!

Posting again for max coverage:

Due to a late cancellation I have two spare tickets to see Seasick Steve at the Guildhall on Monday (12th).

Face value is £71.80 the pair but I'm a scalper extraordinaire so £72 will do the job. I don't want the hassle of splitting them so you'll need to come with a friend.

They're being advertised elsewhere so if you want to go send me a PM and we'll sort out the details.

You must log in or register to see media

I saw that before....what is amazing is that he thinks he's desirable. I have often noticed that women are hard on themselves, whereas men rate their looks too high. Women that would be interested in him are exactly the type who wouldn't be on Tinder and he wouldn't be interested in them because he would say they were too old. I am about his age and know I do not fancy old men and since younger men wouldn't be interested (because I am no looker) I know I am out of the game. About time this chap realised it as well.

Strewth he’s got to be a nutter.......Surely no women in her right mind would not see a bloke turning 70 likely to be someone as pushing 50?? Mind you if they do...there’s hope for me yet......<laugh>

I don't hide my age (68) because if you look younger than you are...great....and if you don't, you won't look an idiot for trying unsuccessfully to fool people. I have promised myself that I will never....ever...be proud of my age. Being 70, 80 or 90 is a fact....you don't need congratulating for surviving.

No just a bloody Miracle according to doctors......
