I'd add, we are also good to watch (if nerve wracking). I tried to watch the Boro game the other day, total crap
Wonder what Bielsa was saying to the Wigan manager at the end. The guy looked like he thought Bielsa would never finish.
Very happy with the 3 points but I'd like to see us demolish someone pretty soon. Wigan are ****e (yes their home record is good but they had players missing) and we didn't exactly carve 'em open. Our passing out of defence was better than any passing round their penalty area.
Apparently he was praising Cook for Wigan's resolute display despite having 4 of their top players missing Not sure if Cook understood him though
You know, same was true of the Revie team, we passed opposition off the park but (with a few purple patches as exceptions) often only won by the odd goal
Happy with that today winning against a side who we gave a lot back to.the guys stood up to them and kept going. Question for you guys who saw it.was Alioski as bad as he sounded on Radio Leeds.was he up to his old tricks.
Only saw it on Sky but he was as always a complete mixture. He is very frustrating in attack because, to be frank, he does not have the natural skills of some players and he compensates with quick thinking and hard work. A few times he maybe did let us down in attack but he was very much involved linking with Douglas and the midfield players, always available for a pass to relieve pressure, know when to go down to an innocuous challenge, runs back to support the defence. There was one moment when Sky pointed out how 8 players got back to snuff out one lone attacker who, briefly, had looked to be getting away into a scoring position: Alioski was one of the 8. But the real answer is - IBWT and he keeps picking him.
