Is Jose Mourinho being forced to play some kind of Brewster's Millions money wasting type game?

Bailly £30m
Mkhitaryan £27m
Pogba £89m
Lindelof £31m
Lukaku £75m
Matic £40m
Sanchez <- Mkhitaryan
Dalot £19m
Fred £52m
Grant £1.5m

£370m spent and not a single [HASHTAG]#nailedon[/HASHTAG] first XI player to show for it
You do make me smile :)

Reactions: THE FOOL
Hes a bit of a nob and hes dislikeable.

People are trying to laugh at him for making **** loads (now more than any pool player), winning trophies and being an integral part of one of the best teams in pl history.

They dont "rate him" and whereas he could be better (his finishing is shocking) he fits pep teams perfectly and his pace and movement (much like salah) gives him a lot of these glorious chances.

Just sounds like jealousy mate (also him moving on in a bad way).

He hasnt learn anything <laugh>. Hes a far better player now than he was 4 years ago. Theres a reason city are willing to pay him 300k and pep wants him and regularly plays him
What are we jealous of? How much money he earns - well, who wouldn't be? That he's at another club? We don't need him, we have as good and better.
There may be some spite at the way he left but that isn't jealousy (the correct term is envy anyway).
My own feelings are the same annoyance that I have with any young footballer who thinks he's God's gift.

Great battle for 7th place this
We all know they will come good
Title winning performance this
If they weren’t chasing this City side down I would be very concerned but most teams are out of it now
We are four dropped points away from being out of it and three of them could be taken later genuinely.
I actually expect this city side at some point to win the quad.

Pep has already has his effect on refs like he did at Barca - not so much Bayern but that effect where his team seem to be allowed to make pro fouls (nothing wrong with that) but not get carded for it (everything wrong with that)
I remember that bugging me at Barca how you couldn’t touch them but they could do whatever they wanted.
Daft thing was they didn’t need that kind of benefit plenty good enough on their own.
Either way the pep effect, the limitless resources, the resilience in this side - I think - will lead them to that elusive quad

So Utd win a game that, with respect to bournemouth, they should be winning and Utd are ironed on top 4 again.

Bournemouth as I said before were really playing nobody before this and in fairness to them they gave Utd a game but they still lost v top 6 side.

Totally agree with this. Peps side press high to great effect but as soon as you are close to countering them or breaking through one of their players can make a cynical foul and they get away with it time and time again whereas any little touch on his players and they flop down.

Not sure how referees let them get away with it time and again

Fernadinho should be serving his 2 match ban for yellow card accumulation by now, that man is prolific professional fouler.

The thing is it cant just be coincidence, it has happened at two of his three clubs, it must definitely be something he instucts the team to do.
Cant say i noticed at bayern but that bayern side were awesome before he arrived

European Super League...

I can honestly say, if Liverpool broke away and joined this league then they can do one as far as I'm concerned. Every fan of the club's that take this route should boycott it. Nothing more the greed. Pure ****ing greed!
I genuinely think it would die in less than a decade if they formed one.

Everyone is getting carried away with is. It was rumoured earlier in the year they are thinking of introducing a 3rd European competition and restructuring them all as a whole. This would be an elite competition, then you would have one below that and another below that.

Never said it would happen. I heavily doubt it will. But even the motion of it sickens me, it would destroy football imo

I used to be the same, but now I'm finished with the PL

Any competition that PGMOL has complete decision over is worthless IMO

The PL is dying because of them

I don't want a super league but I'll take anything but PGMOL

From what I read it would run alongside the Premier league. Just UEFA restructuring European competitions is all.
