Hes a bit of a nob and hes dislikeable.

People are trying to laugh at him for making **** loads (now more than any pool player), winning trophies and being an integral part of one of the best teams in pl history.

They dont "rate him" and whereas he could be better (his finishing is shocking) he fits pep teams perfectly and his pace and movement (much like salah) gives him a lot of these glorious chances.

Just sounds like jealousy mate (also him moving on in a bad way).

He hasnt learn anything <laugh>. Hes a far better player now than he was 4 years ago. Theres a reason city are willing to pay him 300k and pep wants him and regularly plays him

I couldn't give 2 ****s about sterling.
I do find it funny all the frequent visitors to our board are defending him though. Don't remember much of that when he was our player but whatever.

Who would he replace in our team then if he is so great?

Your boy brought him up in the debate :emoticon-0105-wink:

You need to read things in context mate. I never said he hasn't leanrt anything. I said he's still making the same mistakes he was making as a 17yr old.

If you're going to wum then at least make am effort mate

So what is this fatal error he makes?

Apart from finishing like hes a prime mark stein and that hes mentally weak?

Yes unlimited money and doing something you love is exactly like aids mate. Im unlikely to have both

And neither have any relevance to the topic of conversation. Glad you agree, apology accepted <ok>

I was talking to the resident wums

I noticed you didn't answer the question :bandit:

He wouldn't get in our team. He works at city as he is surrounded by quality. We don't have city level in midfield to cover his weakness and he would not be ahead of salah and Mane.

Fair play to him though for doing well for himself without really being much to shout about as a player though.

Not just finishing, end product as a whole. His decision making is terrible unless it's instinctive.

I didn't rate him art Liverpool, I'm not going to rate him now when he's basically the same player in a better team.

Being surrounded by good players gets the best out of him. No coincidence that his best season for us was when Suarez was here.

This is a more reasonable response to someone you dont rate. Mane probably wouldnt get in the city team either.

Unfortunately we dont know how it would play out as none are in the same team but i think sane is better than mane (both are great though) and sterling is ahead of him in the queue

Sounds like mane unless mane is in a purple patch.

You expected sterling to have an awesome season when he was 19 and surrounded by rodgers star signings and tactics? Don't think anyone had a good season that year.

It's difficult to question pep, but if you look at the players they have at their disposal, I do wonder how he gets a game. He's a typical english wide player, quick, a bit tricky but little end product.

Hes got a bit of everything but like salah (salahs more skillful) sterling is the one who likes to run in behind and has that pace and strength to get onto things. Whatever reason it is pep loves him.

He could still improve his end product but his goals and assists are right up there the past season and a quarter. you can argue someone else should make those runs but for whatever reason the other wingers arent in the positions sterling has.

18 goals and 11 assists in the PL last season. Poor for a wide player that <laugh>

Maybe the reason Salah had a good season, surrounded by better players.
