The one thing i have noticed about the football club we all support and love, is that those overpaid, under worked so called pundits on SKY and BBC term us as LEEDS not LEEDS UNITED, they even put us on there league tables as just LEEDS!! all the others are given there full names or abbreviated e.g. SHEFF UTD.
Why is this do you think............Jealousy, lack of respect, or maybe total dislike, whats your thoughts and views.

My thoughts and views is to bombard them with the above point on Twitter, instagram, emails etc any form of contact and get them to say Leeds United, tall order but lets give it a go and see

Most Leeds fans just say Leeds, as in "Leeds, Leeds Leeds!!", i've yet to hear them go "Leeds United, Leeds United, Leeds United!!", I think you are being a little bit sensitive on this one.<cheers>

I worked with a man who was promoted and insisted on being called Mister. I had until then respected him as a workmate. A name is not necessarily a sign of respect or otherwise. I boozed for years with a group of men who cussed each other and no offence was ever taken. If some people don't respect our club cobblers to 'em.

True Ringo, take for instance Millwall, you lot don't seem to take offence when your clubs full name is shortened to just Crap <whistle>

Technically, you are Leeds United Football Club, but what's in a name?
Some people can not make their minds up what club to support so would not have a clue about what's in a name.
However if you are a Leeds supporter you support that club only, and for life. So we know who we are and what's in a name.

What I hate about it is, driving back the other week and Man Scum were playing Newcastle both United but scum were the only one's referred to as such, same against West Ham last season, BBC and Sky are so far up their arses it's embarrassing.

Reactions: FORZA LEEDS
Funny thing the other night. My 11 year old was playing around the pool on holiday, wearing his Leeds top, I was following this lad about 18/19 toward my son and the lad said to mine, Leeds there's only one United, my lad says "who's that", he replied "Manchester", to which I said, "you ever use thst language to my lad again and I'll hit you so hard, your face will hit the back of your head" I was about to laugh, as i was joking but the ****er had taken to his heels quicker than Usain Bolt. My lad said I did come across a bit aggressive .

I am not bothered about us being reffered to as Leeds,
It's when they refer to the red mancs as united that riles me
There are many more uniteds.
