BTW this guy is now working in wolves academy. He's a coach not a manger but he gave us the best yuong CB in the country for an absolute steal for his short stay at anfield

IMO we treated him shabbily and he would stand up against any of the under age coaches we now employ in the academy.

Funny thing is.... jimmys never had a comment about any of our coaches in the academy level of any sort. @Jimmy Squarefoot .. your opinion please?

He maybe a good youth coach but we hired him as assistant manager to the struggling Brendan Rodgers.

I slated him because the board had a clear out of the back room staff and what was badly needed was some real top level experience to help Rodgers. Instead he hired some no mark.

And now look at us - quality manager, quality backroom staff, quality players on the pitch.

Manchester United are lining up a move for Juventus coach Max Allegri if they decide to sack Jose Mourinho.
The Express reports that Mourinho is still under pressure despite their 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday with his relationship strained with several key players.

why would juventus manager take a backwards step?

and we know how deluded the spuds are <laugh>

poch is a good manager but so is howe and many others, doesn't make them great or in the elite.

I never said it would be for Utd.

imo it's Utd being cheap and not sacking the guy and just changing manager in break. I sincerely doubt juve manager is actually lined up as juve would cut his legs from.under him.

Utd should have sacked mourinho before internationals. as they have not i can only assume they think he is the man to stick by or real Madrid are about to save them 20mil.

given the debacle with centre halves this summer I would fully expect them to expect mourinho to be manager in May as thry would be playing the "approach every manager one after another til they all turn them down" game

anyway..... conte's name is being hottly bandied about so... if real go for him it solves both spurs and utds.problems for them.
