Don't think anyone's said 'the deals done'.
But it seems it is on track to be done and announced next month.
Of course, there could be last minute twists and it collapses, as previously, but it does sound like it's gonna finally happen this time. And that insta photo suggests Duffen hasn't fallen out with them, so reasonable to expect it's his consortium that's going to be the new owners.
 
People don't normally take time out mid-deal to go on a jolly - they usually wait until it's done
 
If Duffen does take over, he better not gush about the great job his mates did , and he's hoping to carry on their great work . Them knobs will probably have it written into the deal that he has to praise them once a week . I want a new owner to come in and say , don't worry I'm gona sort out those ****s mess for you

Concern i have is new owners are looking at the league table and thinking are we going to take over a club that's falling away in the league table and were now they want 45 million we will get a division 1 club for 10 million next season. Just hope i am wrong and they are still keen and we pick up enough points to at least give them a chance.

Oh plenty have claimed its a done deal over the years, remember Yorkys (?) sold by the end of October. Only that was from this time last year.

You clutch at straws while I take it with a pinch of salt.

Makes no difference either way though BT.

Whether we are confident or pessimistic, what will be, will be.
