Terry even admitted to saying the words "****ing black ****" to Ferdinand, but his plea was that he said "I never called you a" in front of it. Bollocks in my opinion but when you're rich and famous we all know how the law works.

So having 'I never called you' in front of it means that he didn't call him a black **** directly, doesn't it? If he did say it directly to Ferdinand, why didn't the other black players on the pitch pipe up?

Mate, opinion will always be split on this. If there was genuine proof that Terry was guilty, I would have absolutely no time for him. Irrespective of him playing for Chelsea.

That's his claim. He claims he said "I never called you a" in front of it. The evidence shows him saying "****ing black ****", not him saying "I never called you a ****ing black ****". So of course he's going to say something like that to try and sound innocent, wouldn't you if you were him?

Oh you mean why didn't Terry's team mate, Ashley Cole, pipe up? No I have no idea why...:emoticon-0114-dull:

On the balance of the probability, which is enough for the FA but not a proper court, he was guilty, as there’s not a plausible enough explanation as Dier points out. I don’t think it makes him a bad person- all the disabled parking spaces and general ****ery does that. We’ve all said stuff we regret especially under the intense pressure of watching your teammates burst into tears taking a corner in front of some loud shouting men. I don’t think Mata has ever truly recovered.
 
People say things in the heat of the moment that they wouldn't dream of saying in a normal situation and are likely mortified that they have said them ... for me it doesn't mean that they are inherently racist (or whatever) because those words come out of their mouths ... how many times has each of us said "I'll ****ing kill you?" or similar phrases when angry? Does that make us dangerous to the sanctity of life?

Personally I don't think John Terry is inherently racist - I do however think he is a rather a twat ... <ok>

You hate him so you'll never agree with anything he says. Ashley Cole? <laugh> Good job he was the only black player on the pitch eh? Cole testified against him yeah?
