Personally, we're driving to Harrow, parking, having a drink up there and then going towards the ground. I know its 30 mins on the tube, but I'd rather that than 30 mins waiting at an overcrowded bar.
i would have thought any pub would welcome clients regardless of support as there is minimal biff anymore bar west ham/millwall
There are quite a few pubs within walking distance of the ground.Whether you get in or not is a different matter.
Yeah, it's closed weekends so there's no point going there, you may get out a couple of stations too late and then you'd be in trouble! Arsenal, Finsbury Park, Highbury and Islington are all good alternatives. If you're going to victoria, just get the victoria line to Finsbury Park and walk from there. There'll be huge crowds walking towards the place so you won't get lost!
That's gr8 advice. Get to Victoria early and you can enjoy a pub lunch nearby or pop into a tapas bar or pizza joint in Cardinal Place ( look up Victoria Street on Google Maps ) which is just opposite Westminster Cathedral if you prefer, far from the madding crowds and then make your way via the tube to the park and hopefully catch a glimpse of our Park when the match begins
