According to the media, 'Pool are having a blinding season and are a shoe-in for the title, and Spurs are having a dreadful season as a result of "Levy stabbing Poch in the back and making no signings." Yet, despite how ****e we are, we're still only 2 points adrift of 'Pool/

Third-rate wumsters, such as Adrian Durham and Mickey Dim (off TalkSport) try to have it both ways, and always ending looking like clowns.

We're having one of our worst seasons, and we're still top 4. 'Pool are having their best ever season (according to the media) and still look no where near City.

For the sake of every Mouser on this board, I hope they finish above us. Because if they don't, and we pip them yet again in the table, come the end of the season... well, it won't take rocket-science to guess the scale of the wumfest that will unfold on this board.
Tragic post this. Liverpool are genuine contenders to City because Klopp identified where they need players and the board backed him. Other pretenders haven’t and their board are only interested in the bottom line and have no fur on their back.

We always start ****...this season has been our best start yet. I expect us to be on a roll come Spring...we are always hitting our peak around then..quality squad depth though is what we need

You're replying to a blank, so I take it that Skiddy has vented his usual bile about something, yeah?

Oh, how I will laugh, when we finish above the Chavs!

Spending money doesn't mean guaranteed success...another way of looking at it is that our first team are a smooth machine...been together for a few years...that must count for something in footballing terms. Let's be fair we aren't talking about mid table fodder...Spurs are in the top 4 for a reason.

Hmm, things don’t always follow a set formulae. But agree with quality in depth though, you never know who’s going to get injured or fall out of form.

There’s never a guarantee but all the previous winners bar Leicester had spent heavily improving squads. ****ed if I’d be happy waiting for the next blue moon.

This is something that every third-rate wumster wilfully chooses to forget, Bruv.

Quality players, playing as a team, as opposed to a "team" of Galaticos playing for themselves, will always succeed.

That is why Poch has struggled so hard to keep this magnificent Spurs side together.

Exactly and with Poncetto being so successful in his nine years as a manager and all. I honestly think if he steers you too a league cup you’ll probably **** yourself to death.

The only top 8 teams you've played are Liverpool and Watford, and you lost both of those. No points in the CL either.

Yeah, but we're breezing past mid-table fodder, such as Huddersfield and United, yeah?

Your consistency against mid and bottom table teams has been great for a long time now. But equally there's no evidence you'll trouble the top this season just like you didn't any previous one.

Doesn't matter...another 200 mill and we would have been above you no doubt but as it stands you are running away with it

Once you've finished the move to the new stadium I'm sure you'll have the financial backing to compete for the league and CL
