My memories of Portman Rd have been seeing us lose. I do however have a good feeling about this though.
I am going for a 0-2 to the Rangers. Ipswich really are having a bad time of late so hopefully we can capitalise.

Playing us will probably start them on a rest of season unbeaten run

Ipswich won, for the first time, just before the international break which has possibly lifted a huge weight off them. They have also only lost one at home so far.

I'd say their best players are currently:
Trevoh Chalobah - Young Chelsea loanee who is good on the ball and has a wicked cross (for a central player). Seems to take a lot of time so hopefully we press them well.
    Edwards - very direct winger.
Sears - Energetic and has made the difference for them in the last couple.

They should start with a 442 but a lone striker wouldn't be too much of a surprise.

Most mistakes seem to come from their full backs and so I'd like to see Freeman on the left and Pawel on the right with Eze just behind Wells.

It's a simple and obvious statement but we will win if we pass well.

I will be there with my wife in the home end so will be sat on my hands with, hopefully, a big grin on my face.

The sun is out & the sky is blue. What could possibly go wrong?

Hopefully KooPeeArr, we will have a week of bliss following the most important match of the season!

    Definitely.

I find the Town fans a bit more gracious these days but it is always nice to carry around that smug satisfaction for a couple of months!

I think the last time I went there was the night before I moved to Spain when we won 3-0 or 3-1 in the Warnock season. Mackie was excellent.

One of those clubs/towns I have nothing for or against apart from their penchant for murdering prostitutes.

Are a lot of similar clubs/towns with serial killers?

I remember that game 3-0 near the start of that wonderful season. I think Mackie got 2. I was with friends and had just started going out with my missus and went to meet her at half time and she was trying to hide from me (I always thought it was due to the scoreline but I've now begun to wonder).

Other highlights from this fixture was a 4-1 win when Impey ran amok and, more recently, seeing Hoillett (is that how you spell it?) scoring a genuine header from open play. :D

There’s not much else to do when you’re that far from London.

Great to see Wzolek finally get a chance.

Slightly bizarre to pick Hemed over Wells given he’s both crap and played midweek. Unless Wells was away too with Bermuda.

Would much prefer Wells. Has he been on international duty in the carribean?

    Good line up otherwise.

Just had a look and it appears not.

A cracking 12-0 win over Sint Maarten in his absence.

    Cheers.

Obviously been practicing his bench shuffle to impress Steve. Or ruled out for visiting other islands behind his back...

Steve actually told him to play for the jersey and he spent a week in Saint Helier.

Like that, except I'd want Wells instead of Hemed.
    Looks like 4-2-3-1.

Don't know much about the Ipswich defence, but imagine he's picked Hemed as he is a bit bigger and more physical than Wells? With Pav out wide, should get some good crosses in, could be good for some drop downs for Eze to slam home!!
