De Gea has been given the biggest challenge of the lot, given he plays with ******ed defenders and ******ed managers. Last season he was by far and away the best GK on the planet but, like the rest of the squad, this season he looks shot to pieces.

Looks like Alex Stepney was before your time Ern. He was a great goalie for Utd back in the day.
He had a couple or three great seasons for them but wasn't in the same class as Banks, Bonnetti, Springett, Clemence or Shilton during his career.
Was leaking goals from 1970 onwards, let in a shed load the season they got relegated.
Apart from that he was okay.
