Id go for an write off where people died but only had whiplash and waited for pikey friends to pick them top at a service station.

**** a lease, don't do credit.

Not so bothered on a return, just want something that is going to last a few years rather than picking up a banger to last a year.

I'd go with a Golf or something tbh mate like piskie says 3k can get you a decent car these days....

I would suggest a VW UP! But it might be out your price range <whistle>
Great cars.

See I wouldn't mind an Astra or something as it's cheap to fix etc. but thinking of getting something that might last a bit longer.

I got an Astra for sale right now as it goes. £600 just had a full vallet. 88k miles. Woman owner. Nice little motor.

I don't think we sold it, id have to check with Big Tone first.

Yeah and theyre ****ing brilliant cars. £20 a year to tax and £35 to fill the ****er up. I drove to Wales recently on half a tank.

Mines only done 19k miles so they're still expensive at that mileage, but you could probably pick one up on 35k miles hor less than 3k.

Surprisingly nippy too. Also extremely fun to drive, like being in a go-kart, with full VW safety checks.

I think they're great.

Hmm. I'll try n find the one I found earlier n show you, pretty sure it was low mileage too.

Msybe theyre going down in value, but VWs especially cars like the UP hold their value well, mainly because its an idesl first car.

Worst thing about my relationship break up is were not getting the Mazda CX5 anymore <wah>

Yeah I've had a look and I'm not sure, would probably have to upto 4 to get a decent one n I'm not sure I like it enough for that. Can't find any 5dr atm either.

What the **** is a VW Fox?

Bit like an updated version of a Polo.

Personally, unless you're only ever driving around yourself or with one passenger and don't ever intend to lug stuff around, I wouldn't bother with such a small car. At least with a Golf, A3 etc you've got a decent boot and can fold the seats flat for a good load area if you ever need to carry stuff around.

Mines 5 door.... you wont believe how big the boot is. For the size of the car it's massive.
