Watching the UFC229 early prelims, two fights, two head kick KOs/ TKOs. Not a bad start indeed.

Has anyone else ever had to voluntarily surrender their driving licence on medical grounds ? If you did , how long did it take to get it back ? The delay say they got the letter from the hospital giving me the all clear in early September , but it takes as long as it takes to re issue it .

My main concern was my boy... I've proposed this and she's happy with it.

Every morning she'll drop him to mine at 7 ready for the school run (I start work at 9 so it's perfect to drop him first, like I do the school run now anyway). On Monday night when I finish work at 19:30 I'll go and pick him up and have him overnight Monday, and Tuesday (I have every Tuesday off due to long hours other days). After school Wednesday she'll sort him from school.

Then every other weekend I'll have him.

So it works out I see him nearly every morning and on my weekend's I have him 4 days in a row.

She seems cool with that and it means I get a lot of time with him.

Luckily i can afford between 700-900pcm for a 2 bed so I've got some great viewings coming up...
It is quite expensive down here tbh.

One comes with a communal pool and gym as part of the price.

Yes . You live in a lovely part of the country , but those areas come at a price .

I'd probably start a fresh life back in Liverpool or London if it wasn't for my boy.

I've got some scores to settle in Liverpool but it could be done.

On second thoughts, **** that I like the beaches and weather down here!

I would have thought that esp with your boy , the kind of beach Weymouth has would be perfect .

If you then feel the need for some ultra hectic nights out , there’s always Swanage <whistle>

Watched the tribe with numerous devices scattered all over my lounge earlier, all trying to get tickets for Glastonbury, the first one through would purchase 6 tickets was the idea.

No one got through.

They weren’t happy.

Yeah I wouldn't even move to Dorchester mate because of my boy. I need to be close, incase anything happens etc.

I went to swanage a while back. Quite nice, although more suited for retirement imo.

These days it's a ****ing joke, pot luck.

I go with a mate that does a hog roast stand. I don't stay with him, I help him set up and pack away. But it's enough to get in any year I want.

Sounds like you're already coming to some good arrangements with your lad. That's fantastic! It will help that it fits in to both of your working arrangements.

Sooner or late though you may end up going down the legal route to tie things off. So a word to the wise, try and document in some way this joint custodial arrangement you've agreed to. Record the nights your lad stays with you. A judge would be unlikely to want to see that changed if its already working. It will also help with any financial agreement you'll be required to make.

My 2 lads stayed with me 5 nights 1 week, 2 the next, which helped reduce my payments to the CSA. The judge didn't even get involved with the kids as we'd agreed custodial arrangements.

Yes I was joking ref the nightlife . Mate at work who lived in one of the gussages ( stop giggling at the back ), he’s moved to Swanage and drives to Southampton to work !

They moved in preparation for retirement in a couple of years time .
