It's the championship and there appears to be no outstanding team inspite of Leeds early form suggesting there might be. We can beat anyone and I am optimistic we can keep the run going. For that reason, Derby to win by the odd goal. Bah!
I reckon we might get a lucky draw. May be an own goal or another penalty - might just steal a point that way.
At the beginning of the article, I thought it was DD using his pseudonym, but then I got to the last few paragraphs!!!! http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...s-challenge-is-to-avoid-the-october-hangover/ 'One of the most impressive aspects of the recent upturn for me has been the way the squad has stepped up. If you look at the names on the team sheet for the past month, there’s a fair amount that would have been more than surprises at the start of the season. Max Aarons, Christoph Zimmermann, Todd Cantwell and Marco Stiepermann were expected to be squad fillers this season, and to see all of them become regulars in a successful side together is unexpected, to say the least. Add in the fact that our marquee striker signing of the summer has been displaced by a Finnish freebie and it’s even more improbable. With players of the quality of Hanley, Hernandez, Marshall and McLean to return, and Rhodes, Godfrey, Trybull and Srbeny on the bench through no fault of their own, and champing at the bit to get game time, the future is looking good.' What with Jack Reeve and now Andy/DD 'changing their tune' - my glass is now ⅔ full!!!
Arguably the toughest game of the season so far, certainly away from CR. I would take a point right now
Anything but a loss will be a decent result to be fair, I sit next to a Derby fan in my office so stakes are higher, I'd love it if we beat them. Bah!
You acn take the man out of Norwich ......... http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/james-maddison-to-support-ncfc-at-derby-county-1-5720766
Yes, here's the same from Leicestershire: www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/james-maddison-norwich-city-derby-2069527
https://www.canaries.co.uk/News/2018/october/team-news-derby/ Looks like we're probably looking at an unchanged side tonight, hopefully with Thompson able to come off the bench and give Tettey a rest. Hernandez back in training, Hanley further off.
Thompson came on as right back last game for Aarons . Good that we have players that can play different roles.
He's on the bench!! Edit - Seems as though NCFC coming into the game more after a frantic start by DCFC.
