I do love a risotto when the temperature starts to drop in autumn. Like no7’s bolognese sauce, it’s all about simmering the stock for several hours first. That’s where the flavour comes from.
Yep my mum used to put it on just after I left for school and I would come back at 3:30pm to the lovely aroma of bolognese sauce. In fact if someone said you have to eat bolognese for the rest of your life and no other food, I wouldn't be unhappy
please log in to view this image Tonight’s dinner. All home made - not a tin or jar in sight. Used a steak rather than mince and cooked for 6 hours in the slow cooker. The steak just broke up into bits.....stunning.
We went out last night to celebrate our anniversary and I had chicken spaghetti carbonara al forno, and the wife had chicken and asparagus risotto......bloody delicious.....then we watched a carpenters tribute act at our local theatre........life in the fast lane
