Fair enough, we'd all like an arms free world. As you say, there's no foreseeable prospect of that

I’d certainly agree both governments have sold weapons but I disagree that Corbyn has given support to terrorists in Northern Ireland, just did the unenviable task of negotiating... which ended (I’m saying he helped) the hostilities. If anyone knows anything about Palestine and doesn’t recognise what the Israelis are doing is outright criminal they are ****ing disgusting. The whole Corbyn ‘supports and celebrates’ terrorism is deluded at best, disgusting and spinning horrific situations in an effort to gain political advantage at worst.

The whole country will have to bear the cost of your principles though, Col.

17.4 million people agreed with me.

But you know what, it doesn't matter what I say or what you say, we're never going to agree.
As I've said before, we just go around in circles.

No point mate. Let them stew in their own juices. I'm going to sit back and watch them cry about Brexit. :emoticon-0100-smile

Actually, it's the BBC and LBC. get back to your acorn farm. As for your polls comment, I think you only look at the remoaner ones. For such an amazing life in France, you do spend a lot of time on Brexit? If it was mean I would be enjoying the sun not worrying about someone in the cyberworld.

I am loving the Sun Ellers
I love to read the forum while I wait for a new Operation date been here since Aug 9th love it even though I am off sick
Brexit for me has importance as I spend two weeks here two weeks in the U.K. when I am working. I admit Brexit means change for me personally but will go with the flow

Keep up the good work

We have what three posters on here that are hard line Brexiteers it seems ?

Ellers is the king of anti Europe posts and is dedicated to posting everything he can to support his viewpoint ... why ?
Will it stop post Brexit?

There is no argument the result was 52/48
It’s accepted so why the daily attacks on the EU? We are leaving so why the addiction of justification?

It matters not but currently it looks highly likely that the nation wants to remain in the EU ... the truth the 52/48 result doesn’t reflect the current feeling of the land

Sorry to hear you are on sick leave DT. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
As for Brexit I think you will be okay. They won't chuck the English out as they need the money. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I think that applies across the EU. I also think they're beginning to get twitchy as they realise how much of their 'budget' goes with us. I expect the 'Remoaners' will be in a frenzy as the clock ticks down...

I notice all the Jezza fans have kept quiet about him meeting Barnier?

He is just doing this for political gain. Shame on him.
Get over yourself. A politician doing something just for political gain? Like calling an election when you have a small but working majority and think you will win a landslide. Or perhaps making a deal and bankrupting us all in the process in order to have to avoid resigning after the most inept arrogant election campaign of all time. Tell us Ellers why were those actions in the national interest as opposed to Theresa May's and the Conservatives own self-interest?

UK exports are up by 6.4% in the year to June 2018, with non-EU countries a larger market than the EU 27, according to @ONS figures released today. UK exports grew to key markets such as:

USA (up 4.1%)

That's one thing you have got right Ellers. I do sympathise with Corbyn. The bloke seems like a nice guy. Yet the Tories and media are terrified of his popularity so put propaganda out there for people like you to swallow
It's called Operation Fear - something he spouts forth and gushes on about 5 times a day whenever someone disagrees with him or points out what many independent experts say could be a worst case scenario not a prediction that it will happen.

And have you read the article or words actually spoken at that meet Ellers or do you just look at pictures! You're such a simple soul sometimes. I suppose the propaganda has to be believed by some gullible fools somewhere!

You might as well publish photos of Ian Paisley with Martin McGuinness, JW Botha with Nelson Mandela, Neville Chamberlain with Adolf Hitler and a thousand and one men who have a public life with Jimmy Savile. They say pictures tell a thousand stories. Trouble is over 999 of them are spin and you can make the picture fit your own view of the Universe thus giving a distorted and biased take on what it shows which is designed to mislead deliberately or recklessly.

I don't doubt that Corbyn sympathises with the causes of Irish Republicanism and Palestinian rights but that does not inevitably lead to support of mass murder. Context is everything. You can deal with conflicts and combatants in an armed struggle in a variety of ways - fight, exterminate and ostracise or boycott them or talk to them in order to try to resolve the conflict.

What I have never seen yet but no doubt someone can show it to me is transcripts or recordings in which the politician in question openly advocates the murder of innocent civilians except of course when the powers intervene in regional disputes and bomb one side or the other. Or arm their own friends to the teeth, preferably at a vast profit.

Don't recall Corbyn ever doing that but can think of numerous leaders in the USA, Russia and the United Kingdom who have. But then I suppose I'm a bit simple too.

At least I would never mock the widow of a dead soldier because I was losing an argument or stick up for a known terrorist sympathizer when every man and his dog knows he is. A really unsavory comment yesterday. He should be ashamed of himself but probably not.
The difference between you and a certain individual Yorkie is at least you are honest about what you believe and don't try and cover it up. I never trust people who are not honest. Although we are polls apart and would probably never agree on Brexit. I doubt you would be making light of a dead soldier. Sadly we have someone on here who thinks it's acceptable. Not the sort of person I will be communicating with in the future.

What was this comment ellers? Or was it a picture instead? Give your head a shake ffs Ellers. You stated I should talk to them, I would be more than happy to unless.....You didn't really mean it? My cousin on my wife's side was killed in Iraq along with a childhood friend so don't start playing silly buggers. And as for not trusting people who aren't honest....your a massive contradiction if there ever was one!! I like debating with Goldie though as he has similar opinions to you but is much more intelligent and doesn't act like a 5 year old.

I am sure Goldie will enjoy conversing with you. Like me though he has probably seen right through you. Enjoy your debate.
