Remember when we played Hull and there was a protest, we lost the game, the players wondered what was going on.

Leazes idea sounds best if you could fans to stay in ground and protest but dont distrupt a game, we need the points and for the players to know we are behind them but not Ashley.

Right I've read the whole thread and nobody seems to have a clue exactly what they are supposed to be protesting about!!!

At least get your story straight before you do these stupid things and if you are getting your bedsheets out use spell check before writing them. Hate you to look any stupider.

Really can't see the point of the protest it won't achieve anything, and in fairness there are a lot of other clubs out there that have more reason to protest (Everton, Forest, Plymouth)

We got rid of 4 first team players and brought 7 players 6 of which are first team players.

He probably broke up the sining section because of the Anti Ashley songs, so won't get anything from protesting about that.

See how the season pans out before getting your bedsheets out!!!! <doh>

only a handful of dole scrounging spastics with stained bedsheets and a 3 legged jack russel called shearer would be my guess.

do those people actually understand what the word protest means when its attached to our club? it means the whole nation is laughing while a bunch of inbreds achieve nothing but getting cold and earning a sore throat through their inane shrieking.

Why would anyone believe that a protest would achieve anything?

It is obvious that Mike Ashley won't be bothered by it. He is showing that he will run the club in any way he likes, and couldn't care less what the fans think.

The only way to really make him listen is for the fans to hit him in the pocket and stop going to matches, which he knows is not going to happen.

I have accepted that in reality there is nothing that we can do about Ashley, so I am just going to support the lads on the pitch and hope that one day Ashley sells up.

I think we should do what Liverpool did. Not a fan of Ashley despite me defending him on a few occassions but getting fed up of broken promises.

I'm glad we have had a good start to the season but when we go through a bad patch i'm worried what Pardew will do.

Im sorry gentlemen. But what's the point doing one now?! Are my fellow geordie supporters really this stupid?!?!

We should have had one as soon as we were safe last year and carried it through the summer, when their was a chance it could have a made a slight bit of difference.

What you doing one now for??!! The window is closed and their nothing you can do about it.

We all knew the £35mil wasnt gonna be spent so why wait until the end of the transfer window?

F*cking ******s the lot of you. P*ss off.

    That's the spirit

And also the reason nothing ever happens and Ashley is going nowhere

It's more 'pathetic' and 'stupid' to let your club rot in hell

Any further clarifications on what the protest is going to focus on or will it just be a rabble shouting left, right and centre about everything?

One reason the Liverpool protests were successful was because they were organised. Many voices but one solid message that was delivered without vitriol or malice.

This protesting doesn't work it just makes us look like complete tools on SSN. We need something properly organised (like the march/protest Liverpool did).

At least 25000 should refuse to leave.

Yeah, this was discussed the other day. As I ad then I'm not sure that it will achieve anything but it's better than the stupid protests which make us look like clowns. I'd participate in a sit in if it was properly organised but we need a lot of people to do it and we need organisation.
