We sold 4,900 out of 5695 allocation. Disappointing, first game in England we haven’t sold out away for time. Bad management by club selling tickets so late. £22 a seat so not super cheap. Well, you did ask!!! Have you been one the away end at Anfield? View is lame
Yeah I was taking the piss a little bit but I was genuinely quite surprised as you normally do sell out. And nah not done Anfield yet, was hoping to this year but had to pick between it and Wolves on Saturday. Next season as long as we stay up as want to get all the big clubs done.
Good game last night. Chelsea deserved it. Liverpool out of the only cup they have a chance of winning, oh well just league cup innit
Yes, I know . Never get seats at back of Anfield ROad end: joke letterbox view. It is surprising we didn't sell out when we've taken more than 5k in December to Leeds and Sunderland for Carling night games (even under Rafa). Maybe they should have been a bit more subsidised ... under £20?? The ticket sales were a mess: on and off sale to accommodate those travelling to Greece. Having said that, want to give club credit as they have bowed to fan pressure and do not charge any ticket fees on matchdays now. Your ticket is £22 for Anfield, you pay £22. Other Prem clubs (we are first) should follow our lead.
Going on Saturday What I do is...get on with it and not give any ****s about point scoring over attendences just like I wouldn't give a **** about sitting next to Richard E Grant on an aeroplane lol
You are going away to Huddersfield? Your away allocation must be limited to season ticket holders, surely??
