M40 then M6 according to google.

Would it have been a lovely weekend? Really? At least the journey home after Saturday was relatively short for most. A drive back from Blackpool is a long way to go after a loss. Not too confident about this one given our cup record.

Did Blackpool about 30 years ago the weekend we played Kenny Dalglish's all-conquering Liverpool, we were top of Division One they were 2nd and they absolutely smashed us 4-0 but it was a disappointing end to a great week of playing the local golf courses and evenings in the town. I've heard the place has gone downhill a bit since then...

I did a load of work in the area a couple of years ago - the town is a dump, full of second rate bars and clubs that cater to stag and hen parties at weekends, but are dead during the week, cheap as chips B&Bs (there's a reason they are cheap....). It's living on the reputation of past glories, similar to Margate, but it has the Pleasure Beach, Lights and Tower to keep it going- it's actually a shame as I remember going as a kid and it being a great weekend (would also have been about 30 years ago). For anybody going, and planning to stay, I'd recommend Lytham St Annes, a 15minute drive, and a much nicer town (especially if you want a bit of golf Sooper....)

Margate's on the up Steels, it's become almost cool. Had a good weekend in Blackpool sometime in the 80s when we played them in the FA Cup.

I would play to win the game with something like the following team in a 4-2-3-1 formation:

Thus, a striker with two real wingers.

I would certainly have Wells on the bench and would like to see him make an appearance. Plus, I would like to slot Chair into the team, but lacked the creativity of where. I am sure that Eze will need to be rested, but so do Feeman and Luongo, so he was included.

Any alternative suggestions are warmly welcome.
