Everton have won just one game, drawn 3 and have lost the last 2...after a second big spending summer on the trot.
They just can't seem to get it right at the moment.

As predictable a result as ever for us down there, but not the performance.

We were the better side by a street for 55 mins but lacked a striker of the quality of Lacazette who then gets one half chance and produces a top drawer finish.

Then the lino somehow misses a 2 yard offside and Cat from Red Dwarf seals the deal completely against the run of play. Meh.

A good performance from us despite the result and certainly a ****ing huge leap forward from the debacle there last season. We just lack a striker of genuine quality.

Silva is a ****ing [HASHTAG]#fraud[/HASHTAG] mate. Look at the guys record, it's appalling.

Everton could be a good team with a proper manager.

Silva had 8 good games with Watford and suddenly became sort after? Bizarre.

He also nearly kept Hull in the league and won something or other in Portugal once.

Richarlison £40m
Lacazette £46.5m

Only saw the second half and Lacazette scored that beauty as I switched on, so I'm claiming some credit for that too <whistle>

Listened the first half on the radio and it sounded like you were much the better team, with Cech keeping us in it. He made some good saves in the 2nd half too and really commanded his box today. Not the best with his feet, but still a top keeper.

We got lucky with the 2nd goal, it was a mile offside. That was a huge stroke of luck for us. But as I'll take it <ok>

Oh and Aubamenyang does look like Cat from Red Dwarf <laugh>

Everton were certainly not the best side by a country mile. They played well in the first half and we were somewhat disjointed, yes. As is the case these days. In the second half they certainly were beginning to build up a head of steam until Lacazette scored and Aubameyang got lucky. Thereafter it was a bit of a stroll. I thought we defended a lot better today in general (that doesn't mean we necessarily played that well).
