It's hard when a recent good run hits the buffers. Luckily it wasn't us this time. I really want this to work out for the coach and his apparent faith in the young players coming through. Long may it continue.

I have been back in UK for 9 days. In that time, played 3, won 3. In the future if we are in a slump, club together to buy me a ticket ( return ) and i am willing to fly over to transform our results. Went to Lincoln v MK in the afternoon, my daughter lives only 200yds from the ground. Shackell and Toffolo were both in the Imps team, and both played reasonably well, but Lincoln were very good for the league they are in.

It's really pleasing to see the faith DF has in his youff and I thought we looked quite good, apart from giving QPR too much of the ball in the 2nd half.

It's taken a while but DF seems to have now 'discovered' which pegs fit which holes, which has been partly instrumental in our turnaround in recent form.
Stiepermann is not a LB or even a LM, it transpires and Leitner seems to operate far better from a deeper position, alongside Tettey more or less, from where he can look up and spot runs, movement in the channels etc - dare I say like Ian Crook used to do?

DF does seem to have turned things around in the last few games and WHO wouldn't have taken 10 points from a possible 12 – including NOT losing to 1p5wich???
OF course we'll have setbacks, but let's enjoy our present 'purple patch'

Edit - Several pundits have commented that we are a more complete team without JM and I have to agree, but I'm still NOT changing my Avatar!!!
Looking forward to seeing his FK on MotD!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think DF nailed it in his interview with Chris Goreham – the team is playing with ‘togetherness’ and that’s something that’s been missing since Wembley IMO!!!! ,[HASHTAG]#hitsnailonhead[/HASHTAG]

I owe Farke an apology. At the start of the season, I was very critical of him because I felt sure we were heading for a relegation battle. Long way to go, I know, and I'm not sure we can put together a promotion push, but there's no way we're going to be down there with a certain other team (Mind the Gap!) Things seem to be heading in the right direction for sure.

I don’t think you owe him anything.

The start of the season looked dodgy. He needed to turn things round. However, most on here I thought were very reasonable and recognised it was a work in progress and a tough run of starting fixtures, which meant he was allowed a little bit of a reprieve provided results improved.

As they now have! And the matches we have lost are all against the top three teams in the league.

Still a lot of work to do imo, but much more positivity and feels like things are coming together. Genuinely starting to believe we could make play offs.
