One entered the building the other night searching for a missing kid that doesn't even live with us, without letting staff know and staff weren't on site.

Police and bouncers I think are just two professions where, you have to be a total and utter twat to do the job.
Every copper or bouncer I have met is a twat. People always give traffic wardens ****, but my mates missus is one and you couldnt meet a nicer person, just dont park where you shouldnt and you'll be fine......
But coppers and bouncers......you need that twat gene in order to be able to carry it off I think.

My cousin is a copper and a really quiet, nice guy. Overworked, underpaid and horrendous shift patterns. I think he’d happily get out of it if he was qualified to do something else.
Gonna stick up for the Po-Po here. I know a few coppers and they are all sound lads. Some of them have to do **** that most people on here would flinch from or couldn't face. Like attend road traffic accidents, go and help women who are being beaten up by abusive partners , or face down drunk and violent ****s out clucking for a fight on a saturday night.
The ones you have to watch out for are those in the PSU or riot squad. Some of those ****ers are just yobs looking for an excuse to crack heads. I know because I've been on the end of a baton at various anti-racist marches that I went on in the 90's

I like to think I am. I’ve been in a few situations that have been pretty chaotic, with injured people and panic around. Just a couple of weeks ago I helped out at an RTA which was pretty bad.
Remember trying to help a German bloke many years ago who had drowned surfing a heavy reef break out there. A couple of lads were giving him CPR and I took over with chest compressions for a while. Poor ****er didn’t make it either.
Not sure I could do that sort of stuff as a regular job though. I’ve got a couple of mates who are firemen too, they say that you have to develop some black humour to deal with some of the **** they deal with.

We'd be ****ed without the police, simple as that. All the police haters on here would turn to them in an instant if their houses were robbed.
I have a mate who's NCS, or whatever they call it now. The mob that kick your door down at 5 am all tooled up.

Not the point....point is..why do they think they are the fountain of common sense?
Every society needs Police, doesn't mean they are Gods..what they should do is Police....uphold the law...when they act like glorified bouncers who will not have any of your opinion on a situation/scenario, yet give their own then they are just a set of Pigs.
Didn't say they were Gods. But **** da police one minute, run to them the next?
Yup...in between I pay my taxes all the time.
My take on cops is that they are only useful when they are useful...most of the time you have to be on deaths door with a bullet hole or a big knife in your back to see how useful they can be...rest of the time they are ****ing pointless...like I say they should stick to policing situations instead of trying to be a bouncer in a situation with their flimsy take on things.
