A rather pointless and dull international break is over and we're back to business.
Things didn't go well for us in our last match prior to it though, so we've got some work to do.
Having lost to one side with a 100% record in the league, we now face one of the other two.
A dramatically improved performance will be needed if we're to take the points in this one.
Jurgen Klopp's team spent heavily this summer and it's working out well for them so far.
Alisson was brought in to replace the unfortunate Karius in goal and became the most expensive keeper ever.
Keita's transfer was finally completed and he was joined by Fabinho and Shaqiri.
With £160m+ spent and little recouped, it's probably not surprising that they're expecting to challenge.
Their opening fixture did little to dispel thoughts of a title run, as they demolished West Ham 4-0 at Anfield.
The visitors had spent a fair amount themselves, but the gulf in class was still evident.
The following three matches were a little tighter though, despite all going the same way in the end.
Chris Hughton gave them a tough day, as Brighton went down to a single goal from Salah.
This is the start of a rather testing run for both sides, as the Champions League draw wasn't kind to either.
The League Cup also put us both up against unbeaten Premier League sides in Chelsea and Watford.
The result here could set the tone for a very important set of games.
Pochettino will want to correct the mistakes from our last match and get back on the front foot.
Last year's match at Wembley was one of the early high points of the season.
Diego Maradona was a surprise guest and he got to see one of our better performances.
An early goal by Kane set the tone, as Lovren was caught out and his team paid the price.
The same applied to our second, as Kane raced clear of his marker and picked out Son to make it 2-0.
Salah pulled one back, but an Alli goal before the break killed it off and Kane's second put any doubts to rest:

The visit to Anfield was less one-sided but probably no less entertaining.
It was our turn to start poorly and make defensive errors, as Dier put Salah in on goal after barely two minutes.
Both sides created chances and failed to take them, until a Wanyama thunderbolt leveled it up late on.
That was just the start of the drama though, as Kane was awarded and missed a penalty.
Salah gave them the lead back in injury time before another penalty was given to us and Kane put this one in.
