I think he has been known to use it as a tool when his attempts at discrediting a poster are failing and not going as planned... then once they're banned he can spin his story further with them not having the opportunity for a response. Even away from bans he uses his mod status as an advantage in that people will automatically believe the lies and narratives he creates. You're right mate it's dead easy to see through him
