New Moderator

Hi boys and girls, we need a new mod!

I have been asked to oversee all the forums and help the moderators so that we can get a good standard on all forums, ours is one of the biggest and one of the best, we want everyone to enjoy.

This means I will be spending time on other forums to get them to the right standard so I could do with help on here. We need someone who can give some time, be open minded and wants to carry out the role for the right reasons. Its important for a moderator to put their personal views to one side and act on behalf of the forums members, but you know that.

If you would like the role just stick your name on this thread.
I will close this tomorrow evening then we will have a vote so the forum members can select who they want.

As I recall, Syd, others put your name forward. On that basis, and I don't know how he's fixed, but MackemsRule seems a sensible bloke.

X2! I don't think people like to put themselves forward for various reasons. The way you were voted in seemed the right way to go about things Syd, so my vote goes to MackemsRule too, as he has similar beliefs to you in how the forum should be run. Congratulations on your promotion mate. Very well deserved IMO and thank you for the sterling work you have done on our own board.

Cestria always strikes me as a safe pair of hands, especially when he steers clear of his occaisional attacks on the 'craas'.

I nominate him but don't know if he has the time or inclination for such high office.

Wow, that was a shock to see my name put forward. I'm extremely flattered but I know I would not be able to perform the duty, especially not up to the standard of the incumbent. I really get a buzz coming on here but I couldn't consider doing more. My vote would also go to Cest. I've always been comfortable with the stance taken by Syd and Cest on the first 606 so with Syd going the Sunderland way (onwards and upwards), I would hope Cest would take on the responsibility.
