Rabiot deal
Liverpool could be set to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Adrien Rabiot in a similar deal to that which took Naby Keita to Anfiield.
The Reds agreed a £52m deal for the Guinean midfielder last summer, but only brought him to Anfield prior to the 2018/19 campaign.
It seems that the the same sort of deal could be struck with the 23-year-old midfielder, according to the Mirror.

Thought the point was he wasn’t playing for them - in that case why would PSG want to hold onto him for another 12 months. They either want rid now or they don’t, totally diff to Keita who they wanted to keep but had to sell
we might be in FPP watch mode and can do a deal but not in January?
we can afford a small fee now but the main fee next summer but next summer the queue of clubs will be big and we lose out

Cant see psg wanting to do that. Rumours of them having to sell to meet ffp after buying neymar and mbappe so no benefit to them in agreeing a fee now and selling in a year, especially if they don’t play him and have to keep paying his wages
yeah. that is true but the window closed without them selling enough to cover it. they had a net sped with mpbappe fee of about 80mil.

You are right, but its january to may. If we can "buy" him and they know 100% fee comes on 1st july they can plan on it but then we don't have the fee in January on top of the fees paid this summer which would maybe show is in breach of FFP
really they are stuck with him til january so if they think they can sell him then fair enough thats their choice you are absolutely right.
