Good Morning Everyone

Pablo Hernandez will return to training this week, and will be fit to face off against the Lions, a week next Saturday.

The 33yo picked up a knock prior to the Boro game.

Oliver Sarkic is to join Spanish 2nd division side Barakaldo for the rest of the season.

The 21 yo forward joined Leeds last January from Benfica

Pontus Jansson has been speaking to the Swedish media AGAIN.....

At least this time he hasn't said anything incriminating.

The 27yo Swede has effectively cut out his alcohol to fit into the new Marcelo Bielsa regime.

He has lost 4kg in the process.

Jansson has also revealed to the journalist that after thinking about the very “interesting” offer from Russia he turned it down, as did the club as far as we know.

A very PC response from Jansson's standards...

Morning all, I’d just read about Pablo and posted it on yesterday’s morning thread, I’m used to you posting at 8am on the dot Ell not 8:10am ;)

Pontus seems an easy target for the Swedish press, considering he isn’t first team choice (Sweden) I find it strange why they keep going to him for stories, is it because Leeds have always had a decent Swedish following?

Reading between the lines it seems he wasn’t fit enough and drinking too much for Bielsas liking, I like Bielsas stance on this.

Good morning Matt & everyone

Great news that Pablo is raring to go again, our most effective creative player

I'm loving the discipline Bielsa has instilled into his playing squad on & off the pitch. Teaching young affluent men how to behave during their working life.

Working eight hours a day
Ensuring any environment they operate in is cleaned up at the end of their sessions
Curtailing alcohol habits
No finger waving for red/yellow cards when players are fouled
No red cards so far!

At last I have respect for a group of modern-day footballers

A very good morning to you all, from a sunny but chilly southampton.
Good to see the players are not only making a professional effort, but a personal one as well. They seemed to have grasped one of Bielsa's ideas, that effort & hard work on all fronts, will bring great rewards,as in any trade & it's not just a professional footballers right to this.

Morning all

The squad should be 100% fit by next weekend and even Izzy will have had over a week getting Bielsa'd on top of his 3 weeks full training back at Chelsea. Phil Hay reckons it will be next month before we see him, and thats fair enough. It does seem however that he will be playing a key role for us this season as he will be the main cover for when/if Saiz form dips or gets injured and he is also the man to replace Pablo if/when he needs a rest. Izzy is seen as a creative attacking midfielder who can play out wide, in the middle or even up top. Seems to be shrewd planning gone into this as we may not see him in full flow until after Xmas when we know our form can drop.

Another new member coming back is Forshaw and he will be ready for next weekend, but he sits behind Klich and waits for his form to drop or get injured. He can also slot into Phillips role if required but it seems Bielsa has Klich lined up for that with Forshaw replacing Klich because Bielsa sees AF as an attacking midfielder not a holding MF as he played at Boro. Bielsa looked at Forshaws games for Brentford where he scored goals and created. Love the way Bielsa thinks - the game is offence, offence, offence and get the ball back fast when lost it and go on the offence again. Defenders are not defenders as we know it they are offence creators.

Good morning Leon, I did notice Alioski wave once for an imaginary card against Boro, it was very brief like he’d suddenly remembered it’s a no no.

Southampton? You slipped up there, Ell! Now we all know that this is your second account! <whistle>

Morning Matt and all.

It showed against Boro what a miss Pablo is against these type of teams, that bit of magic to unlock the solid defence, He'll be needed at Millwall so great to read he'll be back for then.

It appears Jansson likes to talk to anyone who'll listen, probably why the press make a beeline for him, he comes over as he thinks he's number 1 here and he seems to always be putting himself in the window for potential buyers, not automatically getting his place and getting benched for Cooper on Friday as finally woken him up to the fact he's not indispindispensable, like he thought he was.

I'm guessing that B&Q will be the best place to pick up the finishing touch to your Xmas Fancy Dress outfit - the big blue bucket

Pontus is still our best CB by a country mile, but I do understand where you're coming from mate
