Er, most ridiculous post I've ever read. EPL consistently pump La Liga teams. Very rearely do all 4 la Liga teams progress in the CL, it's usually only Barca and occasionally Real Madrid too. Whereas, every year all 4 EPL teams get to the quarters and usually at least 2 teams to the semis. Yes, Barca are the best side at the moment (yawn) but the rest of that league after Real is dross. No other La Liga team has ever won the CL. I think 5 or 6 different EPL clubs have. EPL = best league in the world, strength in depth, competitive. La Liga = dull, predicatble, poor standard. Didn't Villareal only just qualify for the CL by the skin of their teeth? Haven't Sevilla been pumped out already? Compare that to the mighty EPL where mutiple former winners Liverpool won't even get to play in it because of the quaility of the league they play in. Too many other top teams.
not answered the question your poor English teams don't win the uefa/ Europa cup , the poor Spanish teams do . Noticed you never mentioned Villereal , did they not beat Everton in champions league qualifying a couple of years ago ??? Barcelona yawn !!! no it English overrated team thanks to the 3 billion debt their league has run up that is a yawn

interesting you should mention debt harry, you are aware that Barca had to take out a huge loan just to pay their staff last season?
or how Valencia had to halt plans on their new Mastella stadium because they racked up enormous debt and couldnt secure further loans to complete the project?
or the fact that la liga players have threatened to strike so the other players in the league get paid what they are owed?
dont even mention Real Madrid around these parts, govt bail outs are still a sore subject.

fair play bud, i am extremely bored at the moment ( well thats my excuse and im sticking to it )
just out of interest though, when was the last time a team outside the OF was backed to win the SPL?, not a wind up, a genuine question.
Never ... The SPL has only been about since 98, and its always been Celtic or Rangers, maybe a long time ago under the old format, but thats a bit before my time.
1985 Aberdeen is the answer , laugh at our game all you want . We accept our standard is poor but you will never find more passionate supporters anywhere in the world. Go and ask European players the best atmosphere in the champions league in Britain, it would be a toss up between Ibrox and Celtic Park.Your free flag waving Chelsea fans , Man utd fans more interested in taking photos , Arsenal fans !!! Enough said , I like Liverpool fans least they are a wee bit passionite
as it goes harry, i wasnt here to rip the pìss out of the SPL, however SPL fans will always get a response from EPL fans when you try to do the same, stands to reason right?
also it is not good form when trying to use La Liga as a so called beacon of light for how the game should be run/played.
as you can see, i live in Spain and watch a fair bit of the Spanish games, and believe me, outside a few teams, it is pretty dire. Spanish clubs also run up huge debts.
yes of course Barca are a great team at the moment, the same has been said of Milan,Ajax, Man U, Bayern etc. and no doubt will be said again at some point.
as for the passion of your fans, good on ya, all power to your elbow.
what i dont understand is the need for this constant one upmanship? why do you feel the need to belittle other teams supporters? ( chelsea, Man U and Arsenal in this case ).
it smacks of some sort of insecurity to me, an inferiority complex if you will.

its better to love your team than hate your rivals in my opinion,
