Also I see that all the individual awards were won by Madrid players. I know they were decent but really... surely Navas wasn’t the best keeper last season in CL? He had a horror show in most games I saw him play. Ronaldo scores about 13 of his 15 goals in groups and barely touched the ball in the semi finals and finals either!
Well at least when we get to the final this year, our detractors can't say it was because we had a weak group.
to be fair to them they had a great run before Christmas last or at and built up a lot of points and Everton and Leicester etc were dog **** they were awful for a long period last season after Christmas. relegation form and picked up a little at the end to fall over line. they have just proved so far they had a purple.patch of goal scoring and frankly dyche should have left for where ever while the chance was there. I think he will be damaged this year cos they will look a lot worse but the reality was they just had a wee purple patch.
On this yes, and for someone who studies facts quite surprising. We have traditionally always had quite tough draws. plus it depends on your definition of tough also I would argue that tougher is better for us as we are good underdogs ususally, whereas when we are expected to win we normally stuff up ( not all the time but most)
so.... cl. psg. neymar finally gets to Anfield for old greez thats something to be positive about. mbappe v vvd. Napoli. we saw brief signs of thier class in preseason bit they were well behind us in preparation. make no mistake they are a very very good team. red star..... who knows. it's not as far as we might have had to go.
Let´s have an Atlético v Liverpool final!! I feel if they avoid each other, then both will reach the last 4!!
When do they play Barca as the order of the games can be just as crucial, ie if you are playing your ‘esy’ team opening game and the double header v pot one team u can end up with that first game being one of those where the opposition are well up for it, before you know it you are well up against it
I get you, that's up to spurs doing their business isn't it? They know they need to beat their seed 3 team.up.and down the park... the seed 4 is.marginally harder in their case but again home.game.is easier....
Because Wembley isn't available Spurs want to switch their game in the league cup to MK Dons stadium where they would still be considered the home team with all the trimmings and 90% of available tickets. They should be made to play at their opponents grounds in domestic cup games until their own ground is ready, less tickets will be available to their opposition than if the game was at Wembley or the new Spud Dome because of the tiny size of the stadium, which despite the ticket percentage being the same goes against the spirit of the game.
yes. they should be made let in fans who might actually think their team wants to win the thing. spurs will dump this cup as per.
