Think Maureen is going to need to say a little prayer before the Burnley game.
I don't, unfortunately. Burnley can't handle the Europa League schedule, so I think that he'll get a fairly comfortable win.
It could go either way in terms of the football, though. Neither side can defend at the moment, so their usual bus parking would be questionable.

Yeah I only said that coz I wanted to get another Aretha Franklin reference in there.

He’d better think about it though before he delivers another one of those embarrassing press conferences.

i think it was. It was when you guys played like 4 cbs (well your lb and rb were proper narrow whichever team we played against) or something and we couldn't find a way through because chelsea played so narrow i believe.
That was ****ing Santini. What a waste of time he was. Luckily Jol was his assistant and took over. Start of us moving out of the bottom half on a regular basis.

That happens to many PL teams when they first qualify for Europa.

They work their arses off trying to qualify and it ****s them up the following season because they don't have the depth of squad and they forget that the PL is still far more important to them.

They'd be much better of finishing 8th!

The short transfer window and early qualifying rounds have really stitched them up, too.
Arsenal and Chelsea finished one and two places above them and went straight into the group, while they've had three rounds to play.
Burnley's reliance on outworking their opponents is hard to manage when they're playing so often, too.

I get what you mean about finishing 8th, but I'm sure they'd like to test themselves and improve.
It's a shame that their European campaign probably isn't going to net them any cash either, as they're not on TV. It's harsh.
