You think the press has the same angle of questioning to every manager as they do at Mourinho?

Hardly.

They set out to provoke him from the word go as they know he'll react.

It's sad he does react, not arguing that, but it's the truth.

Act like a **** with a history of having a meltdown and people will use it against you.

Yeah I'd be constantly banned if I was a manager, fans would love it though.

Why isn't it? All managers get stupid/leading questions to try and provoke them into a newsworthy response.

There's not a campaign against United.

You seem to be missing the clear and obvious point that in Mourinho's case it is.

If you can't see it then fine but the line of questioning at him is to get a reaction and he does. They know it, so do it.

I happen to share the same feelings towards the press as Mourinho does so can see it.
You lot think Mourinho is fair game so see it other way. (until it suits of course)

Up to you, whatever.

I'm not saying it's fair game just saying it's how it is and that he's not the only person to suffer from it.

Until it suits? Like you ignoring it until today when it's happened to other clubs for years?

Ron once had to answer a stupid amount of questions regarding players leaving when we still challenging for Europe and the window wasn't even open!

It's always happened, doesn't make it right or wrong, but it is what it is.

I dont even know who Ron is, sorry.

All I am saying is that the press currently have an angle of attack at Mourinho that isn't the same as with all managers.

The press are ****s mate, we all know it. Vile horrible ****ers.

Why it's ok when it comes to Mourinho is what baffles me most to be honest.

Ronald Koeman. Not many others have challenged for Europe with us tbf <laugh>

I'm not saying it's okay, I'm saying it's not surprising as demonstrated by the press doing it with multiple managers over the years. Keegan Rafa and so on...

It's got even worse in recent years due to the instant reaction of social media etc. rather than just the papers.

i think libbys point is you probably quite enjoyed it when he was at chelsea.

I might be wrong though <whistle>

Managers have always been targetted especially when it is perceived they are underachieving

I agree . I don't THINK there is one against Jose , but he gave it large first time round with the " Special One " crap . Now it's proven he's not , he's not enjoying it so much .

What goes around comes around .

Exactly, he milked it for all it was worth. Now it's all gone tits up he's having a sulk about it.

I have two.

First, I would ask:

"The United job is too big for you, yeah?"

Provided he doesn't storm off, I'd then hit him with:

"When did you first become interested in buses?"

That ought to seal the deal.

Wasnt it against Spurs that Jose termed the phrase park the bus

No idea.

People were already accusing him of doing it, long before he said anything, so he was probably referring to what he'd heard.

i think it was. It was when you guys played like 4 cbs (well your lb and rb were proper narrow whichever team we played against) or something and we couldn't find a way through because chelsea played so narrow i believe.

So, in other words, Poch out-thought him, tactically, yeah?
