And do you still say City are the best ever if we go back that far? Or were Liverpool in the 80's miraculously better?
thanks for that Libby ... hope you enjoyed the game yesterday? For what it's worth, I think Liverpool currently have a cracking first XI and might even win the league if they can stay clear of injuries to key players (secretly Sky thinks so too but doesn't want to tempt fate by voicing it ) ... but City have arguably the strongest squad ever assembled in English football ... they could field a second team probably capable of finishing in the EPL top ten ... and that's why they are favourites ... rightly so. Spurs are similar to Liverpool but with even more vulnerability to key player loss ... United just aren't a cohesive team ... currently ... Chelsea are capable of beating anyone on their day ... but defensively they can be got at and that is likely to undo any realistic title chance ... ... now what did you think to the 3 amigos ... Maddison, Gray and Chilwell?
**** off Fosse Nah was a decent game, thought we were the better side for an hour and you lucky to nick it really. You were definitely stronger in the second half after we scored (what a finish btw). Was poor from us at how quickly we switched off, then we were getting dominated in midfield and could have done with an extra midfielder... rather than Pierre getting himself sent off Thought a draw would have been fair but that's footy for you, having not watched it again I'm still not sure how the second went in. Thought Chilwell was very impressive, Gray no different to when I've seen him before and didn't think Maddison was all that at all.
What a ****ty 'Super Sunday' we've got today. At work so will be watching on my phone but it should be Spurs vs United today. Although we do get to see that 12 year old Keeper for Chelsea, could potentially be funny.
Not for me. I used to like F1 but now it's basically the best car wins. It's an expensive version of robot wars.
