Just another day at the Valley. I know we are in the same lezgue as Fleetwood and there is no 'divine right' to a win but jeeez. I followed this on updates and it sounded dire. Big up to the protesters. Given the atmousphere good to see people standing with the staff against RD. The team sounded like they did their best, but the quality ain't there.
At least Elfs saw Herne Bay rack up 7.

By all accounts Ajose looked okay on tuesday. So why bring on a half fit Vetokele yesterday. Surely a spin in the reserves would have served better.

our problem is no service. the strikers will only ever be as good as the balls they receive. KAG is told to swap roles too much to make him a out and out striker. Taylor is dropping too deep. we're charltonising him. he wants to get involved so ends up in midfield. If vetokele can get fit he'll be a good player for us this year. there is no hope of him dropping too deep to get involved - he's quite chunky.

the squad is getting stronger, but i already think it's too late.

oh, anyone else know why we cant take throw ins? when it's our throw, we might aswell just toss it back to their goalkeeper. we're useless at them.

Average home attendance for the first three games down a whopping 2,500 on the comparable three fixtures from the year before.

And those are the Mickey Mouse figures don’t forget, not the 6000 who are actually going in the ground.

During the relegation season some of us were ridiculed for predicting that attendances might fall below five figures in the 3rd tier.
Now even the official figure is down below 9,000 for a Saturday Afternoon home game.
And as you say, the real figure is going to be 2,500 to 3,000 below that.

It's an unmitigated disaster.
