Doubt he could play against the Shrews. New manager has bought in 3/4 other midfielders, sounds like he wasn’t given a chance. GA snapped him up pretty quick and has a good eye for a box to box midfielder.

I can’t see us losing anyone else and I guess we will wait for the squads to be announced and then get some loan signings. When does the loan window close?

Is he the one who played against A Villa at Villa Park and was the last one off the pitch?

Doing my head in trying to recall him. I remember him being very good but I get him mixed up with Mawson (who was also very good). Anyhow, sounds like a great JIT signing

I think he was Southampton youth captain and we got him on loan for a season, played mainly at right back but is also a centre back.

Season after Mawson I think.

Yes as you said Cardiff played most of the season at right back had a great year for us. We did need competition in the back four. Wonder if Dom helped to bring him back they must have played in the same teams. JJ looked tired out at times last season.

Blimey looks like it was very close call as well, I wonder if there is any of the money left. Nice to able to sign a player for money & on a three year deal, & one we know & also knows Ainsworth & how the club works.

Yes Ron played both games against Villa
Cheers Guy. Must have been good then because I saw both games and was proud of the whole team. The first game we had one of those hospitality packages. Good value

We have to look at the question with Bayo,Tyson & Mackail Smith are not getting any younger, if they get injured it tends to take longer to get over it as well.
