How the hell has he got the fight against Wilder?!

Fury's return fight was a total joke. This fight has also been a total joke. This has been another terrible fight. No one involved is bothered to try. Just 2 fat lads cuddling again.

Wilder will shatter Fury's face inside 1 round.

Bloody hell. Fight over. Fury didn't hit him or wobble him once, all fight. Boos ring out again. Not surprised. Would love to know how much a ticket for that was. That was embarrassing.

Fury might not be great to watch, but he does enough to win his fights. He is coming back from a long lay off, so he is not at his best at the moment...but he will be when he faces Wilder. He has far more natural boxing ability than Wilder but the big question remains , can he avoid Wilder's big punches ? For a big man, Fury is very light on his feet and quite elusive in the ring, so there is at least a chance that he might be able to keep out of trouble and outbox Wilder to win on points. The bookmakers have Wilder as very slight favourite so they appear to be believe it could go either way......certainly not a foregone conclusion as you make out..

What is this doing on a Football forum for NCFC? There is a Boxing forum and there is also the ' off topic ' option. I don't class two blokes trying to smash the s**t out of each other as a sport or a spectacle and I would ban it if I had the chance and please don't tell me that isn't the whole purpose when your complaint is that the participants didn't hit each other enough or with insufficient force when they did.

I don't think Fury will have the stamina.

Heading the ball causes damage , I'm sure you would be happy to ban that too ?

Motorsport is also dangerous and ice skating and skiing.
So surely banned banned banned.

That glass or three of wine you enjoy 1950s is bad for you so I think you should be banned from drinking that too.

No free choice for you either the nanny state should criminalize anything they think is bad for you .

If you are not interested in boxing or this particular fight why not just let the posters that do enjoy it instead of moaning and complaining?

Must be an old git syndrome that some on here have.

It's so difficult to put an off-topic header on isn't it? Far beyond the capabilities of some obviously <doh>

Far less difficult to just not click on it .

Have one back <doh>
And another <doh>

Actually that looks dangerous perhaps we should ban slap heads too ?

Need us to wipe for you too Dave?

Take a guess from the title, and stop jumping on every little thing people you hate do. So ridiculously petty.

If you don't like the naughty men boxing, don't click on the boxers name. Not difficult.

I am partial to watching the odd fight and see no harm in a thread about it, political ones seem far more damaging to our mental health than one of Tyson fury's weak punches. At the end of the day it just seems like OTT pedantary in being all upity about no off topic label. I can understand those who oppose boxings stance, but I don't see the harm. Its an outlet for agression, a way for some people who might not have much by way of prospects to make a potentially very good living.
As others have highlighted, you couldn't step out side your front door with out risks and without doing something that would offend someone. When I'm a; modern world shunning, electric car driving, fruitarian who devotes his life only to charity and zero impact, I might cast a stone or two, but then life would be so dull I'd probably top myself with some organically sourced bit of creeper.

As for Fury, I don't know what to make of him, at his best like against Klitchko, he is clearly hard to hit and an awkward customer, in that form I just don't think Wilder has the skill to actually hit him with anything meaningful. But can Fury get back to his best? Was his best really that good? Did Klitchko take him for granted?
Fury whilst unbeaten has been down and not probably by a shot nearly as hard as those Wilder throws. But the reality is you have two fighters who have faced no one of real quality (The afforemented Klitchko accepted) So really its anyones fight, but my money goes on Wilder, Fury doesn't have knock out power, but I reckon Wilder will only need to find his target once in 12 rounds and will knock Fury out.

Bah!

I don't hate anybody not even my exes I'm just disappointed by lazy people who can't be bothered to do things correctly.

You sound as though you know your boxing General. As FML has pointed out, Fury can be boring to watch, but as you have suggested, he is a more skilful boxer than Wilder, and .IF back to his best , he might just be able to keep out of trouble and win on points.

Ah, that old 'some on here' chestnut. Hmm, wondering now, 'Does he mean me?! :emoticon-0112-wonde <laugh>

Don't mind any off topic post personally, except perhaps, as the General says, political ones, which have proven in the past to be divisive and caused good posters to leave. <ok>

Yep, same as most others. :emoticon-0100-smile

The ones that are tagged "Off Topic", and the many that aren't.

Read the titles, it gives you a little clue, and will prevent people from wetting their knickers.
