Yes, Life bans were disproportionate for Clive and meme but I guess it’s not practical to ban them/him/it for longer
Meme isn't Leeds for sure,and got Leeds fans banned on bbc 606,not sure about Clive,but were league 1 days when brb and Gillingham were,believing they were our rivals,I think brb remembers meme from then,TC does for sure as he had TC banned.Just because TC infected meme's computer with gay porn.Meme and his watching son weren't impressed.

I'm looking for a structured approach. Doesn't have to be across the board, just understood, transparent, proportional, and with open communication both ways. I don't care about other boards. Don't care who sets it up, just as long as it;s set up.

It looks like you tried to answer WJ about ban lengths by posting the mod rules within which is states it's up the mods of each individual team to specify whether they would like a permanent or temporary ban.
What I believe he is saying is that all the bans we have witnessed have all been without an end date and perhaps that is unfair. You are quite right though anyone who is not a moderator is not in possession of all the facts but we do have a feel for the posters as we read(put up with) what they post every day and usually for several years.
Glory for example has just been banned for life and he was initially accused of both having multiple accounts and posting in a disruptive and offensive manner. Subsequently it's been shown he has not had any second accounts and therefore his level of misdemeanors are less but yet the ban still stays at open ended.
I must stress that is my example as WJ probably wouldn't wish to reopen the Glory discussion again.
My personal view is that whilst our mods acted in good faith on the information available to them at the time, the subsequent evidence from Eric Le Merde that the multiple accounts charge was bogus did not alter their stance one iota and I found/find that to be concerning. That's the only reason I became involved in this whole process/discussion. If our mods had taken a step back and announced that they would now be reconsidering all available evidence and length of ban etc I for one would have been more than happy.
Hope this helps to clarify that WJ wasn't meaning any offence to you personally in my opinion.

Also got an email from a BBC employee telling me my ban stood, but I had reached legendary status with the moderating team as it was their boss that opened the link to check it
Meme was a dick,reported everyone in attempts to get them banned,got me several warnings.I saw him start posting when TC got him with his link,but was never going to warn him.
