Had the pleasure to meet leeds60 after the match yesterday.

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours chatting about life, loves and all things Leeds United.

Asked him just before we left why he was banned and he said he didn't know.

It's quite a while ago now but I do remember wondering at the time why had he been banned as I hadn't read anything that seemed worthy of a ban.

Now it's my regret I didn't ask more questions at that time. Guess I was rather blinkered where our moderators were concerned and just assumed they must be right.

 

When you see Glory next, ask him why Leeds 60 was banned

 

Wasn't Glory that banned him though - and I,m pretty sure that Glory said at the time he felt it was wrong

 

My understanding of it is leeds60 was banned because of a series of complaints by pm's to mods.

So he wasn't directly banned because of anything he posted on the forum.

That to me seems totally unfair as it doesn't take into account the many posters who would have been in favour of ignoring those complaints.

I certainly would have been one of those as he's a top guy.

That's it in a nutshell Jammy.
We sign up to this forum to debate football and partake in the banter - simple as that.
If people are offended at Leeds60's (I'm always right posts) or Gory's (fishing trips), they really shouldn't bother signing up!
If the mods think that dishing out bans because of either private PM's from these moaners or because of their own personal vendetta's is accetable to the rest of us, they really shouldn't be involved in this site

 

It's all very strange TC.

Soon as the big shark has been removed from the water then a couple of posters suddenly return.

It's almost as if there has been some sort of arrangement or guarantees given.

Your pretty sure could not be further from the truth. I even had PM's from Glory at the time just before Leeds60 ban and let's just say it wasn't banter or fishing, Glory wasn't a mod true, but he was one of the main people behind Leeds60 getting a ban.

That was one of many replies aimed at Leeds60

Myself and Glory were on the end of some strange happenings I won't deny that, I did send a PM at the time to the mods saying I would prefer him NOT to be banned but I am not going to lie, we didn't see eye to eye until you had that little chat in my ear

 

You being a moderator I would suggest with respect that you keep some of your comments to yourself instead of trying to stir the sh--. You are obviously over the moon that Glory has been banned if you had any sense you would let it rest. Opening old wounds is never good.

 

Didn't realise that being a moderator meant not speaking your mind so with respect you're talking ****. Over the moon? No but I voted to ban him so happy he isn't here but would prefer him to be here and not causing trouble

Of course he was banned because of what he posted on here mate, that's why people complained, because of his style of posting, and his continuing 'war' with Glory, who kept it going in the name of banter/fishing, but some didn't give him the benefit of his age, but he knows a thing or two about football, yes he kept repeating himself and getting names wrong, but he was/is harmless, he just annoyed the **** out of people, not me I hasten to add, I just read a line of his posts and thought i'll leave that, he's said it a dozen times already, in fact I found it a bit funny that he wound people up without trying.
I don't think he should have been banned either btw

 

But it appears to me that you are causing trouble by your constant digs at Glory.
Anyway we now have it on record that you prefer him to be back on here.

On a more important point has anyone any update on the health of Glory.

There was no dig, I was pointing out a fact. I would have preferred Glory to have still been here and behaving, I said in another post several days ago that it is a pity we only had Glory posting on here and not Steve the guy many have met and who have said is completely different in real life.
