Anyway, no need to panic at Arsenal. It's going to take time for this project to take shape. The first two games against City and Chelsea were never going to be easy, or be a barometer of how this season will pan out. We need to get a win under our belts. Work on our defensive game and sharpen up overall, but it will come.
As it goes it was a great enjoyable game for the uninvolved. Could have been 4-4 but for misses and saves. The fist half was a game of two halves if you like. Second half thought we pretty much controlled the game and were probably just worthwhile Winners of which is now The London derby!
Thought we deserved at least a point from that game. But yes, you did control the game better than us in the second half. We should have been 2-4 up at HT though.
Yeah you could have been leading at half-time tbf. Second half was pretty much one way traffic and Cech kept you in it. Good game for the neutrals though.
Confident that our season won't hinge on such results, but we need to win now. Fallen behind the rest of the pack. Hopefully a slightly easier run will give us a chance to pick up confidence.
Could be worse lads. Just got in from seeing us concede six in 40 minutes (actually I left before the last three).
We absolutely have to beat West Ham next week. And to be honest, they look even more disjointed than us at the moment. Once we get a win under our belts, I think the confidence will come and hopefully as time progresses, the team will gel. We should find then, that we're able to stamp our own mark on games, rather than looking like headless chickens at the moment.
Check out the highlights if you want a laugh. 43 more games of this ****e watching McClaren’s hair disintegrate.
Not really. I’m home and got a KFC on the way so things are looking up. The dog is happy to see me at least.
