Good call. I was offered a ticket for today by a Baggies fan mate. Turned him down on the grounds that I didn’t want to sit with the home fans and it would involve drink, probably not getting home until midnight, and I have to be up at 4.30 tomorrow to drive to Heathrow. Close call, but I’m going to have a few drinks anyway. One word text from my Baggies mate ‘dire’. I think he was referring to QPR somehow.

Bet Angle Wrangle is wishing he had a 5 day contract now.

Seriously thought this was make or break year but after three games this is an absolute mess.

I cannot bear to think what is going to happen. It could of been even more

Just shows how far we are away from competing in the top half of this league. I would say at least half a team away! In my opinion any team who starts Smith up front is always going to struggle.

Been busy all afternoon. Checked the score at 1-0 and then saw we almost immediately equalised. Then saw the final score!!!!

FFS!! 7-1 is a complete embarrassment and although I was glad that Ollie went, I must admit that, the way things have panned out, with good players leaving and none coming in that we really could do with Ollie's fighting spirit.
Whilst I still believe that Maclaren is a good coach, this really isn't the kind of situation that may suit him imo.

I know it's very early days, but I really fear the worse.

I think McLaren has absolutely no idea what team to pick, he’s all over the place with his selections and starting to look desperate after a couple of games. Worrying times ahead.

I recommend going to a festival, listening to a loud ska/reggae band (Dreadzone.)
You don't hear the football app dinging off. So only one shock when you log on at FT...but what shock.
Boy am I looking forward to Tuesday....!!!

Reading through this thread, it seems we played well first half and held our own.
What the **** happened in the 2nd half?

I thought that when I saw the team. Should never start with Smith imo.
