Still hasn't been confirmed. Yeah both parties happy for now (in 3 months time we'll see how happy Stoke still are).
Not confirmed but it is expected to go through soon. The documents were confirmed to have been faxed in time.
Yeah, I'm not sure why either. Our fax machine at work got cut off last year and we didn't notice for about 5 months. They'd even given the number away to someone else! I have never worked for a company that sends or receives them unless specifically requested by some stupid company that's still in the dark ages.
Sgt I went down to the Training Ground earler... now confirmed Crouch is officially a Stoke player. Also Palacios and Jerome went through before 11:00pm
Scholes has told Stoke fans at the training ground that it is done and Juliette Ferrington has tweeted saying she's about to interview him (that was about 10 minutes ago). Matt Sandoz from Radio Stoke tweeted something similar. Don't think confirmation is far away.
N J is that the best you can come up with.. Must admit, TEN million is OTT but hey, if Crouchie scores a few goals, keeps us in the league who cares? And, Delap's days are numbered. We now have Palacios... slight difference in class even Arry said as much. "Great player, I didn't want to let Wilson P go but..." But what Arry? thanks for Palacios oh, and Crouch will be fine.
Good business by Levy once again, Crouch is 30 and did well in his 1st season but last season wasn't up to it. I genuinely wish WP all the best at Stoke, hope he becomes the player he was when he first joined us.
I like Wilson, but Crouch....when ever he is on the pitch the tactics are obvious. I hope Crouch scores for you but he ain't Messi. A 6ft 7" forward who is there to be taller than the defenders. But he is like a baby giraffe.
£10mm for Bambi is a bloody good sell, IMO. However, I'd feel more comfortable if we had bought another striker.
I'm the same NSIS. very concerned over injuries. Defoe has had his problems and so does VDV, constantly.
Can anybody tell me how bad VDV's injury is. When he went off he took a swing at a ball up the tunnel and connected pretty well.
According to The Mirror, Crouch only agreed to go after Levy threatened to leave him out of the 25 man squad! Bit harsh, but it seemed to do the trick.
not sure perry, but this is the problem. the hamstring issue seems to be on going. he plays for a few weeks, then he's out, the he plays, then he's out. so frustrating.
That seem's a bit harsh true enough but.. WHO picks the team at White heart lane.. Arry or Levy? just curios that's all.
Supposedly, Harry. Although Levy probably has the final say on comings & goings. It's the Mirror, which doesn't exactly make it The Gospel, but it did all seem to happen very quickly - so who knows?
