Yes I had my say on here,but not to the people who were making the decision.when we tried to do that,you got in a strop.

Personally i don't care if someone had a second, third or fourth account, it's a fooking football forum but stay with me on this...

There are people or someone creating sock accounts, generally over the years the Barnsley board has been the nest for the them...enter Eric. You have a fairly active and multi topic board, I don't see why any Leeds fan would want to be hanging out with the Swans and QPHAHAHA lot in the Barnsley nest but hey it takes all sorts on there. Then we have two newbies appear on the Villa board and who pops up...none other than the wonderful Eric...the discussion went that revenge was best served cold.

I have deleted multi accounts that have come on the site with the intention of causing disruption, i find it odd as soon has they join the first button they press is the invisible button <laugh>

But we can argue all day none of this is Glory.....ok, step back, take deep breath, because the reality is...

Glory is not looking for his ban to be lifted, Glory ACCEPTS the ban, without any timescale having been put on it. As has been spoken quite openly on here, Glory is poorly, maybe, just maybe, the reality of current life is more important than a bunch of bitches and wind up merchants arguing on a tinpot footie forum.

Case Closed.

To be pedantic, the answer to the question "How long was Leeds60 banned" was NOT 2 years.

The length of ban was never specified, so it's fair to assume that it was intended to be sine die, as no provision was made to appeal (as your IP address & account are blocked, you cannot contact directly).

After 2 years, I asked the mods to lift the ban & they agreed to do so. The way the setup is, you have to approach the mods via a 3rd party.

Sadly, we still have the same situation. Scratch your arse the wrong way & you can be banned for life with no right of appeal. If only they'd spoken to ELM instead of arrogantly assuming they were right, eh?

And thanks to your efforts I was reinstated but I know Glory was not happy about me coming back

WJ, thanks for your post.

There wasn't (to my knowledge) a timeframe put on Leeds60's exclusion.

You were kind enough to put a case forward, and we agreed with you that it had been long enough.

Regarding Glory's exclusion, there has been a lot of pressure put on the moderators to give a time frame - hense we have come up with one.

I hold absolutely no malice towards Glory, and I consider him a friend, but he deserved the ban! He told me he deserved the ban. He also told me that some poster(s) are trying to play us off against each other.

The mods are unpaid volunteers that give up their spare time for the good of the board. Apart from Glory-Gate when was the last time the mods have interferred with the board? We don't - we try and let the board run itself, which 90 percent of the time it does.

As I have said before, its you, the posters that make the board the success it is today - every single one of you contribute to its success, but all this fighting is not doing the board any good.

There have been many accusations pointed both individually and collectively at the mods in the last week or so that if truth be known have been completely untrue.

The difficult decision that have been made in the last week were not taken lightly, there is no vandetta against Glory.

No to be fair, I'm a lazy fooker and actually can't be asked to make a decision. I see life like this...if i'm in a good mood, i do nice things, if i'm in a bad mood i'm a tit. So who knows what mood i'm in from one day to the next. But everyone else wants a closure, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, LIFE! I've never heard of anything so ridiculous, so i left Glory with the final say...i accept my ban, i am not looking for it to be lifted...and no timescale was put on that either, it's not closure but it's not perm either...or is it...who knows, maybe it's a case for the X Files <whistle>
