Can't judge Arsenal too much by that, think they'll get better as season gets on. City showing why everyone thinks they'll retain it.
Fair point. It was a tough game for him to come straight into. Personally I think he did well enough to suggest he'll be good for us. But yeah, unfair to criticise him based on today's game.
Saw enough today to see what Emery is trying to do. It's not going to happen overnight, and there was no way it was going to happen today against a well oiled City machine. Chelsea away next, so straight back in a the deep end again.
How strong is City's squad though. Take off Mahrez and bring on KDB. Take off Aguero and bring on Gabriel Jesus. This is a depth only a few top level teams can dream about.
They’ve spent a ****load of money but they haven’t wasted much of it. They’ve bought incredibly well. Probably helps that the manager rates his players.
Sorry to have to say it but they are leagues ahead of anyone else in this league. Last season was no accident, that's for sure. They may not win it by as many points this season but who would bet against them retaining it? Not me!
Expect Liverpool to push them a bit more than anybody else. But City just ooze class all over the pitch and as has been mentioned, the depth in their squad is scary. They can basically put out a second XI that is as good as anybody else's first team.
