Well they needed a cb. Dunno after that. We will find out in due course. Their issue was absolute pants central defence and a lack of goals. Lots of decent players mind
Always felt sorry for Ings, a decent pro with a good attitude despite his lack of game time, he's a Southampton born lad and I hope he has a good season down there. On the flipside, those twats have took us to the cleaners when buying our many players from their club, they should have been told £60m for Ings or gtf.
Felipe Anderson (Lazio, £35m), Fabian Balbuena (Corinthians, undisclosed), Issa Diop (Toulouse, £21.9m), Lukasz Fabianski (Swansea City, £7m), Ryan Fredericks (Fulham, free), Lucas Perez (Arsenal, £4m), Arjen Robben (RHC's mate) Xande Silva (Vitoria de Guimaraes, undisclosed), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal, free), Andriy Yarmolenko (Borussia Dortmund, £17.5m), Carlos Sanchez (Fiorentina, undisclosed)
Fabianski in goal big improvement imo felipe anderson very decent player Perez up front is not great Whilshire in midfield is filth. Yarmolenko is a good winger. I think they will be a good team, i just hope the ould fella in charge hasn't got them singing day 1.
We sold Ings and Ward for around £30m. Two players who have hardly kicked a ball in the PL. this is madness
