Try further along the coast at St. Malo.

Get a hotel room inside the walled city.

There are also some great restaurants there.

If you both like a flutter later on there's a casino a few hundred yards walk outside the walls.

If you can, wait until the kids are back at school.

Ferry / Cat from Weymouth or Poole(?)

If I go to Normandy I’m visiting the landing beaches. It’s on my bucket list.

There's not much else in Normandy tbh.

I found my uncle's grave in a small war cemetery in Normandy. The war cemeteries are very moving. The French keep them in immaculate condition!

Very romantic that though, taking the Mrs to WW2 landing beaches :emoticon-0115-inlov

I can have all those without actually being surrounded by French people.

Better that than Brtis mate.

I'm in France right now, looking at a village pond with geese on it having spent the night 'wild' camping in a rural French car park. Will be in Biarritz in an hour though, happy days.

Got a puncture in this behemoth yesterday, what fun that was changing the wheel. The scenes, proper workout!

Three French window cleaners watched, which was nice.

Booked the anniversary long weekend in Normandy.

Taking the jag. Can’t wait. Bring on the cheese and wine.

And tears no doubt when I visit the landing beaches.

Settled in Biarritz now, love this place.

Unbelievably chilled with a gate to a ridiculous beach with pounding surf, Pyrenees in the distance.

Got 4 German, 3 Dutch, 1 Swiss and just us Brits in our 'row'. Which is just how I prefer it.

Cold Pelforth in hand, tally to!

Just had Gomez on so yes. Ian Brown and UNKLE now so all good.

No way will I get through (or get away with) all of it!
There's all sorts though, it's sort of designed to fool Mrs luv into thinking she likes it, just when she's getting a bit pissed off with it something she likes will come on.

Couple of good casino's there for later on.

Oh, I know.

Loads of great stuff. Nor sure where to actually start. Should start at the start then follow through to the death!

Got First Aid Kit on at the minute but am putting yours back on after My Silver Lining, which is next.
