But yeah, I agree, we should be consolidating our position. As Poch said, it’s time to be brave.

Levy obviously disagrees, and potentially pissing of the best manager we’ve had in 50 odd years isn’t the smartest move.

This is why I think it's a make or break season for you lot. Pooch has spelt it out what was needed and Levy has told him to go and **** his Granny (he didn't say that, but it's what he meant). If you don't win anything again this season I think your manager could get cold feet along with a few of your players.

Funny how Alderwiereld has gone from being the best CB in the PL, to a £10m has-been who's legs have gone
Whilst an average no-mark from the Championship has suddenly become a player who's going to be worth £60m

****ing deluded Spuds <laugh>

Usual slanted, one eyed gooner bollocks.

I’d be more concerned about your own club instead on spending all your time here obsessing about ours.

Again, your opinion.

It’s a risk, mainly because of his well documented attitude problems. But one that could pay off handsomely.

If he's a 'steal' then he ain't a 'risk' surely ?

Ok, potential steal.

A risk worth taking, imo. £30 mill for a talented 22 yr old is next to **** all in this crazy market

He's also a potential waste of money. Could easily turn out to be another David Bentley.

But you need a back up striker.

Forget about making money on Grealish in 4 years time.

I honestly don't get what spurs are doing.

Let's be honest here. If Arsenal were signing him for £30m you Spuds would be pissing yourselves.

Because it's hilarious whoever signs him for that.

Villa fan on the radio laughing his tits off just now... says it all.

I think they feel that Son, Dele, can fill the void. I’m not so sure, although they did when Kane was injured last season.

The problem is where do we find a decent striker who knows and accepts that he’ll spend most of his time on the bench.

Exactly. Grealish has got a £10m-£15 'English' tax slapped on him because the Spuds are interested.
He's the kind of player that would swap hands for £15m between other championship clubs.

Most other clubs manage it.

Son is off for about 8 weeks btw.

22 is still pretty young.

Can’t be sure, but the new stadium will almost certainly be a factor.

Perspective ... Wilfrid Ndidi made the most tackles of any player in the EPL last year ... he is first choice for his country and represented them at the recent World Cup ... he is reportedly attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe ... he's younger than Jack Grealish ...
